FASHION ADVERTORIALS
At VCCP I regularly wrote advertorials for client McArthurGlen Designer Outlets. These covered a range of different fashion and calendar moments throughout the year from New Year’s Eve glamour to summer dress edits. Advertorials ranged from strictly trend-focused pieces to content that was a blend of centre experience, fashion and tourism information where necessary. I was also involved in the conception and development of templates to be used across all regions.
CAMPAIGN HEADLINES
I had the pleasure of working on headlines and sublines for the SS19 and AW19 McArthurGlen campaigns across a range of fashion moments. The tone of voice was playful and informal with lines written to reflect the internal thoughts or expressions of the models themselves.
CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford Christmas 2019Â
Ashford had completed a new phase of their expansion in time for Christmas and so were looking for a bespoke campaign using the already existing Christmas assets. The brief called for headlines to create a buzz around the specific launch itself, as well as anticipation about the general addition of new restaurants and brands added.
EDITORIAL - INTERVIEWS
For every issue of the Belgravia Residents’ Journal we interviewed a local for ‘The Belgravian’ feature. In this particular piece, I interviewed a well-known florist for our May ‘18 issue to coincide with the Belgravia in Bloom flower festival. I would regularly research what’s new within health and beauty, interiors, food and drink, as well as general local news. Below are examples from The Belgravia Residents' Journal February and May 2018 issues.
SOCIAL MEDIA
During my time at Quintessentially Travel there was an increased move to strengthen its social media presence. I was therefore responsible for producing multiple posts across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This involved the strategic elements of SEO, considered word combinations, specific copy length and the use of trending tags.
TRAVEL - DESTINATION DESCRIPTIONS
I have written engaging hotel and destination descriptions for Quintessentially Travel as well as a wide variety of property listings for holiday rentals company Plum Guide.
THOUGHT PIECES
I wrote this particular piece for Quintessentially Travel commenting on the hot topic of sustainability within the hotel and resort industry, while also highlighting some key destinations.
